OmaKing is handmade by the family business Ritico OÜ in Võru, Estonia. What makes them special: The insoles are cut extra wide and therefore fit into barefoot shoes with a wide toe box – for conventional shoes, you cut them to size with scissors, using the removable insole as a template. Natural materials such as mulesing-free wool, merino, cork, bamboo, felt and leather are used.

Frequently Asked Questions about OmaKing

Do the insoles fit in barefoot shoes? Yes – that's what they are made for: cut extra wide for the wide toe box. They are deliberately slightly larger so that you can cut them exactly to your shoe shape with scissors if needed.

Which insole provides the best warmth? The Wool (7 mm) is the warmest variant without an aluminum layer, while the Thermo models additionally reflect the cold from the ground with their aluminum foil – the Merino Thermo is the thinnest at 4 mm. Honestly: Every layer of insulation slightly reduces the immediate ground feel in the barefoot shoe – but your feet stay warm.

How do I care for the insoles? Remove them from your shoes in the evening and let them air dry – do not place them on a heater or put them in the dryer.
