Description

What is the Richter Fun (Felt) suitable for?

Designed for the hours children spend indoors: at home on the living room floor or at daycare between the building corner and circle time. The Fun (Felt) is a barefoot slipper with a Velcro closure.

Room for little toes: The flat outsole is particularly flexible and cut wide at the front. This gives the toes plenty of room, and your child can feel the floor with every step. A barefoot shoe for everyday indoor wear.

Warm and breathable: The upper is made from recycled wool felt, and the lining is also made from wool felt. According to Richter, the felt is soft, breathable, and adapts to the foot.

Easy on and off: Your child can open and close the Velcro fastening without help. The flexible sole with Richter's patented Roll-Off System® bends with every step.

Package contents: 1 pair of Richter Fun (Felt), packaged in our plastic-free packaging.

Legal guarantee
EU notice: Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
Frequently Asked Questions

Can my child wear socks with these slippers?

Yes, absolutely. The term ‘barefoot shoe’ describes the sensation of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not the bare foot.

How much space should there be at the front of the slipper?

Allow at least 12 mm in addition to the foot length. New shoes may have 15–17 mm to leave room for growth (for beginners: the smallest size with at least 12 mm).

Is the insole removable in these slippers?

Yes, the insole is removable. According to the manufacturer, this makes it easier to choose the right size.

What should I look out for when my child switches to barefoot shoes?

Children generally adapt to barefoot shoes faster than adults because their foot muscles are not yet weakened. Nevertheless, introduce them gradually and speak to a pediatrician or orthopedist if you notice anything unusual.

Won’t my child get too warm in the wool felt slippers?

According to Richter, the recycled felt is breathable and provides pleasant warmth at the same time. It also adapts to the foot.
