Our buying recommendation for children's feet: When buying, plan for 1.2–1.7 cm of free space in addition to the foot length. This gives the foot enough room to roll and the shoe will accompany your child for a few more months before the next size is due. The values given in the "Ideal foot length" column are based on KOEL's wearing recommendation of 0.8–1.2 cm of free space – i.e. how the shoe should fit at the moment of putting it on. Since children's feet grow quickly, our buying recommendation already includes the growth buffer.
