At least 12 mm of space for walking and growing into the shoe is already included in the foot length – that's why our values are slightly below KOEL's own "ideal foot length".
If the foot length is at the very bottom of the range, the shoe will fit a little long at first – then tighten the Velcro strap well so that the heel sits securely. Measure regularly: When the foot is only 10 mm shorter than the insole, the next pair is due.
* Insole and width measurements according to the manufacturer (KOEL). The wool lining takes up a little space on the sides: If your child's foot is as wide as stated or wider at its widest point (measured while standing), take one size larger.
