What is the Collonil Organic Starter Kit suitable for?

For anyone looking to start caring for their barefoot shoes and seeking a compact set. Three small spray bottles contain a cleaner, a care product and a waterproofing product, plus a cleaning brush and polishing cloth.

Clean after a walk in the woods: CLEAN gently and residue-free removes dirt, while the bamboo extract protects the material from drying out. For suede and textiles, brush off the loosened dirt afterwards.

Cared for and protected without PFAS: CARE nourishes smooth leather, suede and synthetic materials with hemp oil and keeps the material supple without impairing breathability. COVER waterproofs with sunflower wax against dirt and moisture, without using PFAS. Polishing increases the water-repellent effect on smooth leather.

Pump spray instead of an aerosol can: All three products are in pump sprayers without propellants and, according to the manufacturer, are suitable for use in enclosed spaces. No warnings or warning symbols are required for them.

Allow some time for the waterproofing to dry: COVER must dry thoroughly before wearing.

Does COVER make my shoes waterproof?

No, COVER makes the material water-repellent, not waterproof – according to the manufacturer, it protects against dirt and moisture. For consistently wet conditions, a shoe with a membrane is better suited.

Care & Cleaning

Cleaning (CLEAN): Hold the bottle upright, spray the lotion on from a distance of 20 cm and spread it with a soft cloth – the dirt will come off on its own. For suede and textiles, brush off the dirt afterwards and let the shoe dry.

Waterproofing (COVER): Shake the bottle before use, hold it upright and spray on in short bursts from a distance of about 20 cm. Spread the liquid well with a sponge or cloth. Then let it work and dry thoroughly before wearing – at least 24 hours. Brush up suede if necessary, polish smooth leather – this increases the water-repellent effect. Repeated application increases the protective effect.

Care (CARE): Shake the bottle before use, spray CARE on and work it in with a cloth or polish it – no drying time is required. Brush up suede if necessary.
