KOEL Ryn Wool Tex
What is the KOEL Ryn Wool Tex suitable for?
The Ryn Wool Tex is made for children who want to go outside even in the cold: for running around on the playground, for an autumn walk through the woods, or for the way to daycare. KOEL classifies this high boot as part of its trekking line and manufactures it in Portugal.
Warm through autumn and winter: Inside, there is a wool lining that, according to the manufacturer, keeps feet warm and dry. On the outside, the boot is water-repellent; the upper material combines suede with textile.
Toes that are allowed to move: The wide toe box leaves room for toes to move freely while walking, climbing, and running – exactly what is important in a barefoot shoe for children. According to the manufacturer, the durable rubber sole is designed for good grip.
Quick to put on in the morning: Velcro fasteners make putting them on and taking them off easy. This also helps children who want to dress themselves.
In the package: 1 pair of KOEL Ryn Wool Tex, packed in our plastic-free outer packaging.

At least 15 mm of clearance is already included in the foot length – 3 mm more than with unlined shoes, because the warm wool lining needs space. This is also KOEL's recommendation for lined winter boots.
If the foot length is at the very bottom of the range, the boot will initially fit a little long – then tighten the Velcro or laces well so that the heel sits firmly. Measure regularly: When the foot is only 10 mm shorter than the insole, the next pair is due.
* Width at the forefoot according to the manufacturer. Due to the Tex membrane, the boot may fit a little tighter: If your child's foot is wider at its widest point (measured while standing), take one size larger. Dimensions according to the manufacturer.
