Description

What is the Leguano Snowbare suitable for?

As a barefoot winter boot for women and men, the Snowbare, handcrafted in Germany, accompanies you on frosty mornings on your way to work and on weekend winter walks. Visually, it is a modern winter boot with an extra-high shaft, while when walking, it is a barefoot shoe.

Warm feet, warm ankles: The extra-high shaft keeps the cold away from your feet and ankles, while cozy lining surrounds your foot inside. The water-repellent upper material is breathable and, according to the manufacturer, supports a pleasant foot climate.

Ground feel with room for your toes: The sole, approximately 2 mm thick, can be bent in any direction, while the half-spheres underneath keep your distance from the ground, which you can still feel – whether sidewalk, park path, or cobblestones. At the front, the boot is as wide as a foot, and without a heel, the heel and ball of the foot are on the same level.

Easy in everyday life: Thanks to the slip-on design, you are in the boot in no time, even when you have to hurry in the morning. If it gets dirty after a winter day, simply wash it in the washing machine using a laundry bag.

In the package: 1 pair of Leguano Snowbare, packed in our plastic-free secondary packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear socks with these boots?

Yes, absolutely. The term ‘barefoot shoe’ describes the sensation of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not the bare foot.

How much space should there be at the front of the boot?

Allow at least 12 mm in addition to your foot length.

This is my first time wearing barefoot shoes – what should I look out for?

Muscle soreness in your calves and soles is normal during the first few weeks – your muscles will be working in a new way. Start with 30–60 minutes a day and gradually increase. If you have existing foot problems or joint issues, speak to your doctor or orthopedist before switching.

Is the Snowbare waterproof?

No. The upper material is water-repellent, but according to Leguano, it is not waterproof – waterproof the boot before wearing it for the first time and continue to do so regularly.
